UMaine men basketball ranked 319th of 352 D-1 teams

Seeing today that it was announced that the UMaine men’s basketball team was ranked tied for 7th in the America East Basketball Conference pre-season coaches poll with UNH I looked to see where they were ranked nationally out of the 352 D-1 teams.

The only poll ranking I could fine (ESPN, Pomeroy and realtimerpi.com have not posted their rankings yet) was
T-Ranked College Basketball Projections for the 2018-19 upcoming season.

Of the 352 D-1 men’s teams Maine was ranked 319th. The highest AE team was Vermont 134th, followed by Hartford at 188, followed by Stonybrook 240th, UMBC 247th, UMass-Lowell 267th, Binghamton 275th, Albany 304th, Maine 319th, and 334th UNH.

In Realtimerph.com in player 5 star rankings was the following average of each team’s players was as follows:

Pos. Team………Average out of 5.00
1….UMBC…………2.710
2….Albany……….2.056
3….Vermont………2.264
4….Maine, Binghamton, UNH, UML, Stonybrook and
…..UNH all at……2.000

Surprised the other team and conference rankings are not out yet as this T-Rank did not have conference rankings for the 32 D-1 conferences.
