UMaine men basketball team drop 3rd straight to South Alabama 68-46

The University of Maine men’s basketball team dropped their 3 straight game of the young season in the semi-finals at the Mohegan Sun Arena area of the Hall Of Fame Tournament as they shot just 32.7% from the floor on 17-52, 15.8% from beyond the arc on 3 for 19 and 60% from the line on 9 of 15 as the fell to South Alabama 68-46.

South Alabama led at the half 36-26.

South Alabama evened their record to 2-2 and Maine dropped to 0-3.

South Alabama out shot the Bears from the floor on 27-60 for 45%, 7-28 from beyond the 3 point line on 9 of 28 for 28% and shot 87.5% from the charity stripe 7 for 8.

Maine plays the loser of the Sacred Heart-St.Peters game at 12:30pm Tomorrow in the consolation game while South Alabama meets the winner of the Sacred Heart-St. Peters at 8:00pm tomorrow in the championship game.
