Hopefully Guards 6’4″ England’s Dan Evans 17.7 ppg at Andover Prep who is as good a prospect as Vann was and Transfer 6’2″ Wesley Myers from Niagra with 2 years of D-1 experience where he averaged 9 ppg and shot 42.5% from beyond the arc 2 seasons year and red Shirt freshmen 6’8″ Vincent Eze can make up that 40.5 ppg.

Either that or Calixe, Little, Illija S. and Eke have got to step up big or Maine has got to lower their points per game allowed from 86.9 ppg.

Maine will have a roster of 9 guards, 6 front court players and a transfer  from LaSalle College and Lee Prep who has to sit out the year.

Hopefully the 8 incoming recruited freshmen class which has excellent size and probably better overall athleticism then the the graduating 7 seniors along with Sig Koizar who averaged 17.7 points per and contributed 26.8 game points of the 2015-16 seasons run  as when you add 4 points for each of the 2 pointers and adding  5.1 points for the 3 times 1.7 of the 3.7 assists per game she averaged..She accounted for 44% of the Maine scoring of Maine’s 60.5 ppg.

Along with 5’10” sophomore  Duquensne transfer Tanesha Sutton who will definitely help Sigi in the backcourt and could give Maine the best backcourt in the conference.

Coach Barron has stated that Maine’s most recent  two signees  both from  Spain, Blanca Milan a 5’10” guard averaged  a triple double 27.0 ppg, 13 rebs ppg and 10 assists per game for her club team and 6’0″ guard Naira Caceres averaged a double double with 14 points and 12 rebounds per game for her club team.

Coach Barron has stated that these two guards from Spain are the two highest ranked signees from overseas that he has signed in his 5 year stay at Maine.

Also coming are  front court players at 6;3″, 6’2″, 6’2″,6’1″, 2 Guards at 5’8″.

7 of the freshmen recruits are international players and 1 of the guards is from Maine, MDI’s Sharon Tapley
