If you were going to pick a possible upset for today, Wednesday, February 20th, what game would it be?

The best possible shot at an upset for today is Lewiston to upset unbeaten Hampden. Lewiston has won 10 of their last 11 and even with their best player out, they still have excellent size and excellent athletes. They played a little tougher schedule then Hampden and Hampden has the same pressure on them as did Jonesport Beals. Number 1, undefeated, and everyone expects Hampden to win the State this year.

Hampden has really not had any real close games this season, so the key in an upset bid by Lewiston is to try to keep the game close and see how Hampden reacts to the one and done, win or go home close situation.

Hampden cannot be looking by the Blue Devils. On paper Hampden should win, but the game is not played on paper, it is played on another wood product, the floor.

Lewiston looked very good against a Bangor Team that played Hampden tough twice during the regular season. They beat Bangor by 10 69-59 and had a 17 point lead at one time in the third quarter and lead 40-26 at the half.

Hampden was not tested against Mt. Aarat as they won the tip and everything else after that in beating them 75-25.

Lewiston certainly was tested more than Hampden was in the quarter-finals.

Should be a good game. But this one has the makings of a possible, I say possible upset.
