Umaine Men travel to Stonybrook tomorrow to meet the firdst place Stonybrook Team. Maine fresh from an upset win over Vermont at Alfond on Tuesday and Vermont handing Stonybrook its only conference loss this makes for an interesting matchup.
Stonybrook is the sole holder of first place at 5-1 after BU uoset Albany this week.
MBR reports have Chris Braley. formerly of Nokomis High in Newport going to be making an official visit to Stonybrook after having done so at UMaine. He is currently playing prep school ball.
However, Maine will have to cut down on turnovers, reduce fouls and shoot over 33% from 3 point land to win this game on the road with Stonybrook still stinging from the loss to Vermont.
Stonybrook has no player averaging more than 12 points per game and two players are averaging that along with another at 11 points. Maine can match that with Edwards, Frasier and Pollard all averaging double figures.
