UMaine Men Host UMBC on WABI-TV Tomorrow at Noon

If you haven’t had a chance to watch the Maine Mens Team in action so far this season, you can catch a game tomorrow.

The Mane Mens basketball team should garner its 4th consecutive win and their 2nd conference win in a row when they entertain the lowly University Maryland Baltimore College in a TV game at 12:00noon tomorrow.

UMBC comes in with a 2-12 overall rcord and 0-1 in the conference after losing to Albany this past Wednesday 65-48.

UMBC is shooting just 59% from the line vs. Maine is 68.9%.
UMBC is shooting 42% from the foor vs. Maine’s 41%.
UMBC is shooting 29% from 3 point land to Maine’s 26.5%.

UMBC is averaging 18 turnovers a game with only 15 assists and commit 27 fouls per game. UMBC is a team that commits more personal fouls per game then Maine who had been averaging over 20 per game, until they only commmitted 7 against BU which was a big factor in the win.

UMBC has 3 players averaging double figures while Maine also has 3.

Look for a Maine win, but they cannot afford a mental letdown after beating BU at home on Wednesday.

Maine us curently tied for first place in the AE Conference at 1-0 with Hartford, Albany and Vermont. Stonybrook 0-0 drew the bye Wednesday, While Binghamton, BU, UMBC and New Hampshire all lost their opening Conference games and are each at 0-1.
