Lawrence at Bangor Boys Big Game Tonight

Mike Magee’s Lawrence Bulldogs come to Bangor tonight to meet Ed Kohtala’s Rams at Red Barry Gym.

Lawrence is 6-1 in 3rd place in Eastern A Heal Points and Bangor is 5th at 4-2.

These are to very bitter rivals and this game should be as contested as those when McGee went against Reed.

Added to the rivalry of this game is the fact that former Bangoir Ram Xavier Lewis will be in the staring lineup for Lawrence. He transferred to Lawrence last ssssyear at the end of the school year.

Lawrence is still trying to work out the football muscles to basketball muscles as they had a late start in the season because they were in the stae A Football Game this year.

By now those basketball muscles must be ready to go.

Bangor is 4-2 with tough losses to Hampden and to Edward Little. Lawrence was hammered by Hampden earlier in the seasson 62-37. They scored only 13 points for 3 periods in that game at Hampden.

Bangor lost to Hampden under double figures and that game was at Bangor.

Bangor has come from behind in 3 of their four wins and also came behind in their tewo losses to make games that were close at the end.

Experience advantage and head coaching experience of Lawrence-Bangor Rivzlry goes to Lawrence, home court advantage and their ability to make comebacks goes to Bangor.

Big game for both teams. Usually Lawrence-Bangor Games are defense oriented so look for a low scoring game if history is to repeat itself.

My prediction too close to call…this is a tossup..
