Rebounding. When rebounding on the defensive backboard make sure that when you come down on the floor to turn to the outside of the court on the side of the court you are. This way you can look for the outlet man to start a fastbreak.
If you turn towards the middle of the court you may run right into defesnive players and they may make a steal and you cannot get the outlet pass out when you turn to the middle.
Practice this by throwing the ball of the backboard and turning to the outside. Also, you can increase the speed of the outlet by turning to the outside on your way down so you actually turn to the outside while in the air on your return to the floor.
