Stanford Playing at It’s Best As the Cardinal Reaches Final of NIT

The Stanford Cardinal lost only two non conference game beating NCAA March Madness team North Carolina State and losing to Syracuse by 6 at Syracuse Then they went 10-8 and finished 7th in the PAC 12 Conference. They have lost only once in post season play including the loss in the PAC 12 conference tourney….They are currently 24-11 and have gone to the final four of the Men’s NIT CHampionship at the New York’s Madison Square Garden.

They are peaking at the right time, however they really struggled thru the conference regular season and lost in the second round of the PAC 12 Tourney. Also, very interestimng that the PAC 12 regular season champion Washington at 14-4 in the conference regular season and are currently 24-10 and currently at this very moment playing and losing to Minnesota in a game to get to the NIT Final.

Washington was the first team to win a conference regular season and not get an invite to the big dance, first ever.

Stanford is playing very well right now and certainly are a better team then some of the 68 that made the NCAA March Madness Championship Tournament.

Stanford has an outstanding sophomore point guard who comes in off the bench in Aaron Bright a 5’11” do everything point guard who averages double figures averages 3.6 assists per game to 2.3 turnovers per game an certainly runas the Cardinbal offense. When the ball is in his hands he is instant offense for the Cardinals as he shoots 43% from 3 point teaserland land, 43% overall from the floor and 76% from the line. He is also a very good defender with great lateral quickness.

He is very exciting and entertaining to watch.
