The Eastern Maine Community College Eagles have developed without much fanfare or media coverage as the highest nationally ranked 4 year college in the State.

It took the University of Maine at Fort Kent overtime to defeat the number one Small Yankee College Team in the Country in their Division, at home last night in a very exciting and well played game.

The only coverage of the game was on the 11 O’clock news was one of the local TV Stations having the score and some footage of the game..

This was a quiet night for both high school and college.

EMCC now stands at 14-2
