EASTERN BOYS CLASS A WIDE OPEN

This years Class A Boys teams in the KVAC North is very even. Hampden was the season’s pick and they have 1 loss to  Lewiston. Bangor has 3 loses…Hampden 2 and Lawrence. Lawrence has 3 losses to Lewiston, Hampden and Mt. Blue…Mt. Blue has 3 losses to Hampden, Bangor and Brunswick.

Brewer, Skowhegan, and Messalonskee are also competitive and on any given night can be very tough especially at home.

With the season at the halfway point who will make the Prelims/Tourney from the North. Hampden, Bangor, Lawrence and Mt. Blue look good and solid with Brewer having a chance for a prelim spot as of the 14 teams 2/3’s make the post season this year.

Hampden’s win over Bangor last nite 42-39 at Bangor will probably mean the Broncos will go in number 1.
