We all know that when a player with the ball dribbles into his/her opponent or picks up the dribble leaves the floor and then charges into his/her defender that this is a player control foul.
However, it really is a PLAYER OUT OF CONTROL FOUL, BECAUSE IF THE PLAYER WAS IN CONTROL THEN THEY WOULD NOT BE CHARGING INTO THEIR DEFENDER WHILE DRIBBLING AND IN POSSESSION OF THE BALL.
It really should be called a player out of control, because if they were in control they would not have charged
Penalty: Player Control foul, no shots ball takemn out of bounds nearest the spot of the foul. Foul counts towards individual and team fouls.
